Let the conversation begin. Healthy or bad habits began at home. No matter which habits you have learned good or bad. Yes we do understand that somethings are learned outside of the home. However the root of any habit starts with the home. Now that, that is out of the way.
No matter what stage you are in life. You can create good new habits, if you believe that you can. First thing you have to do, is figure out why are you doing it. Ex. health concerns, better overall health, nice looking body, the doctor's orders, etc.
Once you have your why, then you can began to start the work. If you have a strong enough why, when times get hard, you will remind yourself why you started in the first place and you keep pushing.

* Focus on drinking 80 ounces of water day, which is the equivalent of 10- 8 oz cups of water.
* Avoid consuming alcohol daily, especially sugary mixed drinks.
* Walk 6,000- 10,000 steps a day, yes you will need a watch or a step counter, so you can track your movement.
* Eat a fruit when you feel like munching on something sweet/ sugary.
* Have a veggie with every meal to increase your fiber intake.
Just these five simple steps are very effective when done on a daily basis. These habits will begin to help build the daily habits it will take to become a better healthier you. When your healthy becomes a priority, you make better decisions in most areas of your life. Health is the vehicle that enables the body to take on the challenges of life.
